Demond Watson Named DAISY Award Winner

The DAISY Award recognizes the extraordinary compassion and care nurses provide every day. Congratulations to 2-North Clinical Coordinator Demond Watson, RN, St. Francis-Emory Healthcare’s latest recipient of this honor. Here is what Demond’s nominator wrote about him:
“We had a patient on 2-North needing compassionate care and frequent assistance due to his degenerative disease and declining condition. Demond took it upon himself to address the family's concerns, educate them on their son's care plan, and he even wrote the family a heartfelt letter to close the loop and ensure we are striving to better meet the needs of our patients and their family members. I am so proud to have Demond as a nurse leader on this team!”
