St. Francis-Emory Dedicates Rose for Donate Life Rose Parade Float
December 30, 2024
St. Francis-Emory Healthcare is pleased to partner with LifeLink of Georgia and Donate Life America to honor and remember those who gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation. During this year’s 2025 Rose Bowl Parade, the OneLegacy Donate Life float will have individualized rose messages from hospitals throughout Georgia and beyond, including an individualized message from St. Francis-Emory.
The OneLegacy Donate Life float’s theme is Let Your Life Soar, and it features a vibrant scene inspired by the beloved Japanese celebration of Children’s Day. This year’s float honors tradition, family and love within the donation and transplantation community. Tune in on Jan. 1 at 11 a.m. EST to watch the Rose Parade and see the OneLegacy Donate Life float.
Celebrating its 22nd year, the OneLegacy Donate Life Rose Parade float continues its mission to save and heal lives by sharing the gift of life and delivering the message of organ, eye and tissue donation to the world.
In the Unites States today, there are more than 100,000 people waiting for a life-saving organ and hundreds of thousands more whose lives could be healed through eye and tissue transplantation. A single organ and tissue donor can save up to eight lives and heal as many as 75 more. Individuals can register their donation decision at www.donatelifegeorgia.org or when obtaining or renewing a driver’s license. Further information about the OneLegacy Donate Life float and facts about donation and transplantation can be found at www.donatelife.org.
