St. Francis-Emory Healthcare Partners With Georgia Department of Health to Provide COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics

St. Francis-Emory Healthcare and the Georgia Department of Public Health are partnering to offer the COVID-19 vaccine on the hospital campus in August and September, 2021. Residents of Columbus and the surrounding areas can receive the vaccine from the comfort of their car thanks to the Georgia DPH mobile unit, which will be onsite and available during the following dates and times:
Aug. 27
11 am – 8 pm
Sept. 17
9 am – 2 pm
Sept. 21
9 am – Noon
Sept. 24
11 am – 8 pm
Key points for the scheduled vaccine dates:
- Residents can choose from all three available vaccines including Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson (Janssen)
- The second vaccination for both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will be available at the same mobile location on Sept. 17, 21 and 24
- Information on the second dose will be communicated to those selecting the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines
- Please note, after the vaccine, residents will be asked to wait for a 15-minute observation period
NOTE: First vaccination doses are also available on the dates in September. The second vaccination will be available through the Georgia Department of Public Health.
